Dr. Platt provides both individual and couples therapy.
Treatment specialization includes:
Rates
- $170 per 50-minute session
- $255 per 75-minute session
- Reduced rates are available on a limited basis.
- Payment:
Cash, checks and major credit cards.
Insurance
Dr. Platt is not contracted with any insurance companies. If you plan to utilize your insurance, please be aware of the following:
- If you have a PPO plan, Dr. Platt will submit claim forms for your insurance company to reimburse you, but payment for therapy must be made at the time of the appointment.
- If you decide to use your insurance, your insurance company requires that all mental health providers diagnose a mental disorder and this becomes part of your medical record in The Medical Insurance Database.
- If you apply for life, disability or private health insurance, you may be denied coverage or charged higher rates based on the diagnosis in the database.
